Refused a Mortgage / Adverse Credit?

!If you have a damaged credit record, you might find that your mortgage application is rejected by some of the main lenders. This also applies to remortgages should you wish to re-mortgage your present property to raise additional cash. Fortunately, these days, this is nothing to worry about!

Many people in Ireland have trouble getting a mortgage, and this may be because they have experienced credit difficulties in the past. If you have had some bad credit in the past you will need to look for a mortgage lender that specialises in lending to people who are in your situation. As mentioned, most major banks do not arrange adverse credit mortgages, thus if you have been refused a mortgage by one of the main lenders for this reason, then this is not the end of the world. Your application may have been turned down for any number of reasons.

You may have experienced periods of redundancy and fallen behind with payments during a difficult period. These missed or under-payments can appear as defaults on your credit report. The most serious problem for lenders is falling behind with your existing mortgage and loan payments.

Whether you are employed or self employed, or are unable to prove your income fully, or have had experienced credit problems, mortgage arrears or any bad credit, we can help with adverse credit mortgages and help you find competitive rates and on terms to suit your own circumstances.

People with a history of defaults, mortgage arrears, late payments, bankruptcy or bad credit are often described as having 'adverse credit'. When somebody makes an application for a mortgage, the lender has the facility to search the person's credit history to help them to decide if they are likely to be able to repay the loan. People with adverse credit will appear to be a more risky lend.

Warning: Your home may be repossessed if you do not keep up repayments on your mortgage or any other loans secured on it.
